Abstract

Predictive analytics is a group of methods that uses statistical and other empirical techniques to predict future events, based on past occurrences. Predictive analytics can generate valuable information for the management of a supply chain company to improve decision-making. This can be useful for demand forecasting, defect detection, maximizing equipment value, preventive maintenance, optimize marketing strategies, retain customer and connected aftermarket service in industry.
