Abstract

This study aims to determine whether there is an effect of Jigsaw II Cooperative Learning Method on the learning outcomes of students in class XI on colloidal material. Research has been carried out in the even semester of 2017/2018 school year at SMAN 22 Jakarta. The research method used was quasi-experimental with a sample of 71 students of class XI MIPA taken from 2 classes. Class XI MIPA 2 became the control class which was treated with the learning of the discussion method and class XI MIPA 4 became the experimental class treated with Jigsaw learning. II. The research instrument used was a multiple choice test instrument with 5 alternative answers as many as 30 questions. The results of this study found the difference in the average experimental class 82.33 and control class 74.8. From the results of the calculation of the Mann Whitney U test obtained a significance value of 0.000 <0.05, it can be concluded that there are differences in learning outcomes between the experimental and control classes so that the application of the Jigsaw II learning method has a positive influence on students in studying the colloidal system. ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah terdapat pengaruh Metode Pembelajaran Kooperatif tipeJigsaw II terhadap hasil belajar peserta didik kelas XI pada materi koloid. Penelitian telah dilaksanakan pada semester genap tahun ajaran 2017/2018 di SMAN 22 Jakarta. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah quasi eksperimen dengan sampel 71 peserta didik kelas XI MIPA yang diambil dari 2 kelas.. Kelas XI MIPA 2 menjadi kelas kontrol yang diberi perlakuan dengan pembelajaran metode diskusi dan kelas XI MIPA 4 menjadi kelas eksperimen yang diberi perlakuan dengan pembelajaran Jigsaw II. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan adalah instrumen tes pilihan ganda dengan 5 alternatif jawaban sebanyak 30 soal. Hasil penelitian ini didapatkan perbedaan rata-rata kelas eksperimen 82,33 dan kelas kontrol 74,8. Dari hasil perhitungan uji U Mann Whitney didapatkan nilai signifikansi 0,000<0,05, maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan hasil belajar antara kelas eksperimen dan kontrol sehingga penerapan metode pembelajaran Jigsaw II memberikan pengaruh positif bagi peserta didik dalam mempelajari sistem koloid.
