Abstract

Limnodriloides hrabetovae sp. n., characterized by small male ducts with atrial ducts longer than ampullae, spermathecal pores in line with ventral setae and lack of spermatozeugmata, is described from the Adriatic coasts of Italy and Yugoslavia. 'Limtiodriloides maslintcen- sis (Hrabë) is reported from Italy for the first time. An aberrant specimen of D. appendiculatus Pierantoni with oesophageal diverticula in segment VIII is described, and new records of L. pierantonii (Hrabë) and Thalassodrilides gunvitschi (Hrabë) are given. The first species of Tectidrilus from the Mediterranean Sea, T. pranzoi sp. n., which lacks body wall papillae as well as oesophageal diverticula, is described from Sardinia. © 1987 Taylor & Francis Group, LLC.
