Abstract

Pitch-based high performance Carbon Fiber gives composites of light weight, high modulus, high thermal conductivity and extremely low CTE. Pitch-based CFRP has been used mainly in industrial machineries and in aerospace products as reliable materials, and will be used for a wide range of applications to meet with the progress of machineries and equipments such as in new robotics, semiconductor, energy and environmental industries, together with development of related material production and with processing technologies such as laser engineering.
