The Flipped Library Classroom at Georgia State University: A Case Study

Abstract

The article presents a case study of the Flipped Library Classroom at Georgia State University, a concept wherein students watch or read lectures outside of the class. Topics discussed include the value of flipped classrooms, reasons why the university is considering flipped classrooms and the relation of this method with psychology classes. Featured are Jonathan Bergmann and Aaron Sams, the first ones to use the flipped classroom method in mid-2000s.
