Abstract

Callophyllis firma (Kylin) Norris has been shown to have a life history in laboratory culture in which the tetrasporangial and gametangial phases are morphologically identical. This is the first published report of such uPolysiphonia-type of life history in a member of the Cryptos nemiales. © 1972 Taylor & Francis Group, LLC.
