Abstract

There are 15,000 Americans who have worked in the Bureau of Land Management's (BLM) volunteer programs. The volunteer work performed by Klaus and Jane Hendrix for the Idaho state office, attests to the fact that the volunteers are not engaged in 'make work' activity; their efforts are substantial, their abilities are put to good use, and they provide valuable and significant assistance to BLM and the American people.
