Sociodrama is a way of guidance that provides opportunities for students to dramatize attitudes, behavior, or appreciation of someone as is done in daily social relations in society. Self-efficacy is the belief that a person holds about his abilities and also the results he will get from his hard work that will affect the way individuals behave. Students with high self-efficacy will have high confidence about their ability to perform a task. Conversely, individuals who have low self-efficacy will have low beliefs about their abilities and will tend to give up when faced with a problem. Self-efficacy is seen as very important in one's life, not only in academic aspects but also in one's social aspects. But in reality, at MA Islamiyah Ujungpangkah Gresik, researchers found students with low self-efficacy. The design of this study is an experimental study that aims to see the effect of sociodrama techniques on students' self-efficacy. The instrument used in this study was to provide a questionnaire on a predetermined sample. The findings in this study are the implementation of sociodrama techniques that run smoothly and there is a significant influence of sociodrama techniques on the self-efficacy of class XII students at MA I slamiyah Ujungpangkah Gresik by looking at Tcount and T table. From the results of this study, it is suggested that future researchers can develop other variables that have an influence on students' self-efficacy, so that they will enrich scientific findings in the science of guidance and counseling.
