PROFIL GURU MATEMATIKA PROFESIONAL

Abstract

The background of this research is due to the lack of writing about the figure of a professional mathematics teacher. Math teachers are often described as serious and rarely smile. Mathematics is considered a difficult subject. This research uses the method of literature study. Data was collected with the help of the Google Scholar search engine and limited to articles published from 2018 to 2022. The research results found four obstacles to becoming a professional mathematics teacher. The profile of a professional mathematics teacher can be seen from their high creativity and mastery of information and communication technology. It is suggested that the parties involved should take a role in creating a professional mathematics teacher.
