Abstract

Aimed to select an effective and green method for wastewater treatment and heavy metal recovery, we comprehensively analyze the most popular used methods and technologies in the lab and industry in this paper. On one hand, we study the contents and harm of various heavy metal ions in industrial wastewater especially electroplating wastewater, which can provide us an original criterial for choosing a general water treatment method. On the other hand, we elaborate almost all the current methods and technologies for heavy metal recycling and contrast their advantages and shortages. Finally, we draw a promising perspective for the development trend of this area, which help the actual industrial choice and points out the development direction in future.
