Perancangan Motion Comic untuk Meluruskan Stigma Masyarakat terhadap Penderita Skizofrenia

Abstract

Abstract: Schizophrenia is a severe mental disorder whose main symptoms are hallucinations and the appearance of delusions. Currently, there are quite a lot of people with schizophrenia in Indonesia, namely 6.7 percent of the entire population. Although the number of patients is already large, it turns out that public knowledge about schizophrenia is still low. This causes the patients to receive a bad stigma from the community so that it is difficult for patients to get cured and live a decent life. This paper aims to design comics to reduce the stigma of society towards people with schizophrenia. The method used is the ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Developed, Implementation, Evaluation) model. The results of this product design produce a final product in the form of an mp4 format video which has a duration of 3 minutes 29 seconds. This product has been published through the YouTube website. Based on the results of a survey with 20 respondents through google form which was processed using the Likert scale method, it showed that, as many as 91.6 percent of respondents welcomed this motion comic. In addition, it shows that this motion comic can be a medium of information about schizophrenia which is expected to reduce the stigma. Keywords: motion comic, schizophrenic, stigma Abstrak: Skizofrenia merupakan salah satu gangguan jiwa berat yang memiliki gejala utama berupa halusinasi serta munculnya waham atau delusi. Saat ini penderita skizofrenia di Indonesia cukup banyak yaitu sebanyak 6,7 persen dari seluruh penduduk. Walaupun jumlah penderita sudah banyak ternyata pengetahuan masyarakat tentang skizofrenia masih rendah. Hal itu menyebabkan penderita menerima stigma buruk dari masyarakat sehingga penderita sulit untuk mendapatkan kesembuhan dan hidup layak. Tulisan ini bertujuan untuk merancang komik untuk meluruskan stigma masyarakat terhadap penderita skizofrenia. Metode yang digunakan adalah ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Developed, Implementation, Evaluation) model. Hasil dari perancangan produk ini menghasilkan produk akhir berupa video berformat mp4 yang memiliki durasi sebanyak 7 menit 5 detik. Produk ini sudah dipublikasikan melalui situs web youtube. Berdasarkan hasil survey dengan responden sebanyak 20 orang melalui google form yang diolah menggunakan metode skala Likert menunjukkan bahwa, sebanyak 91,6 persen responden menyambut baik motion comic ini. Selain itu hal tersebut menun­jukkan bahwa motion comic ini bisa menjadi media informasi tentang skizofrenia yang diharapkan bisa meluruskan stigma. Kata kunci: motion comic, skizofrenia, stigma
