Abstract

A new polyphenol, 3,4,5-tri-O-galloylquinic acid ethyl ester, accompanied by other quinic acid gallates, 3,5-di-O-, 3,4,5-tri-O-, and 1,3,4,5-tetra-O-galloylquinic acids were isolated from the leaves of Guiera senegalensis, Combretaceae.
