Abstract

This paper is the product of the research entitled “Audiovisual narratives as a didactic strategy for the reconstruction of the historical memory of the armed conflict in San Martín”, during 2019 and 2020 and it was financed by the Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation – MinCiencias. The research began from the need to reconstruct the past through the participation of the victims of the armed conflict in the region del Meta (Colombia), based in a differential focus and a plural and inclusive perspective, which contributed to the visibility of the various effects of the victims, through implementation of some artistic creation spaces. Then, this paper aims to analyze the memory actions, related to artistic and cultural production, that contributed to citizen participation in the framework of the aforementioned project. This begins with a contextualization of the armed conflict in the San Martín region, continues with a conceptual foundation on memory and history and ends with the results of the intervention in the community to contribute to the symbolic reparation of the victims.
