Abstract

Introduction: It is a fact that higher education institutions are concerned with improving educational quality in the different modalities offered through the implementation of new academic strategies and the optimization of resources that allow improving learning content. Methodology: The research carried out was descriptive-correlational, with a quantitative, cross-sectional approach and non-experimental design. The population sample included 280 students from two Faculties of the Central University of Ecuador, with a sample of 280 students; A questionnaire with Likert scale questions and multiple-choice questions was used. Results: It was proven that there is a moderate positive relationship between the study modality and educational quality and its dimensions; In addition, the linear regression process was carried out using analysis of variance (ANOVA) to obtain the model coefficients; An analysis of the strategies and resources applied was also carried out. Discussion: The results of this research coincided with those obtained by several authors. Conclusions: The use of strategies, adequate resources and training in digital skills for teachers and students in the different study modalities allows for greater educational quality.
