Abstract

The basis for developing a Christian education curriculum is guided by God as the "center" of all knowledge. However, a philosophical foundation that looks at the human element according to the perspective of the Word of God is needed to analyze its usefulness. This paper aims to examine the foundation of anthropological philosophy based on the Word of God. This paper uses the literature study method by looking for sources from the Bible, books and journals. The results of this paper are, the anthropological philosophy of the development of a Christian education curriculum based on the Word of God contains concepts such as: humans as religious beings are God's creations and must have respect and obey God; humans as individual beings are unique and valuable in the sight of God; humans as moral beings do right and do good; and humans as social beings have solidarity and social responsibility. Thus this paper can add insight to the developers of the Christian education curriculum to be able to use the foundation of anthropological philosophy in accordance with the values of the Word of God.
