Abstract

Bob Holdsworth of the University of Durham has made something of a cottage industry in organizing symposia on various fault‐related topics under the auspices of the Geological Society of London, and then seeing the papers submitted to these symposia published in the Society's Special Publication series. This contribution, edited by Holdsworth and three other workers in the field, presents 17 papers organized into four sections; in addition to an introductory paper by the editors.
