Ion sensors

Abstract

This review outlines the ion sensors, such as ion-selective electrode, ion-sensitive field-effect transistor and light-addressable potentiometric sensor. The electrochemical response mechanisms of ion sensors are also introduced. Moreover, R&D and products of ion sensors, JIS standard and recent research topics on new sensing devices are also reviewed.
