Abstract

Ebola virus causes a hemorrhagic fever with a high casefatality rate. Treatment remains supportive although a variety of specific treatments are still in the early stages of investigation. This report reviews the clinical virology of Ebola virus, the reported proposed treatments, and the current outbreak.
