Abstract
The implementation of the 5S tool across SME’s, aims to eliminate waste and seek an environment of clean and tidy. This is essential to follow the five key steps with the support of available resources and adapt to the culture of the company. The results of applying lean in SME’s are immediate, thereby cause a great visual impact, avoiding customer complaints, improving staff involvement and improving process efficiency.
