Abstract

In this article we draw a picture of the organization of the field of gender studies in Mozambique, its dialogue with gender studies in Africa and also at the transnational level, as well as its contribution to the struggles of social movements. The objective is to perceive part of the trajectory of the academics, their epistemological constitution and their area of influence. It thus provides an overview of its history, the topics being debated, the perspectives, controversies, connections, tensions and how they contribute to the formation of a Mozambican gender field.
