Abstract

The author summarizes his position and his story about teaching, research and the actual practice of architecture. Starting from the old days of the first modern crisis, where the sense of architecture was almost lost, and its recovery, through the confidence in history especially in the modern tradition, and on the understanding of architecture as a discipline of its own content, as an important field of knowledge and thus, a privileged way of understanding the world.
