Abstract

Cancer patients are frequently immunosuppressed and at risk for a wide range of opportunistic and healthcare-associated infections. A good infection prevention program is extremely important to reduce risk of infection. This review focuses on infection prevention measures specific to patients, healthcare personnel, and visitors in the cancer center. © The Author 2013.
