Abstract

A variety of mutants altered in hormone biosynthesis and response pathways have been described. Genetic and molecular analyses of these mutants have contributed information on the control of plant developmental processes and on mechanisms of signal transduction. A sampling of hormone mutants and their role in elucidating modes of hormone action in higher plants is described. © 1993 Academic Press. All rights reserved.
