Abstract

This article locates in French Sociology-Durkheim, Mauss, Lévi-Strauss-the scientific impact of what I call Lacan's transference upon Lévi-Strauss. Refering to my previous works, I recalled how and to which extent Lacan's reading of Lévi-Strauss brought about the introduction of the signifier theory in the psychoanalytic field, and how huge were the effects. of such introduction.
