Abstract

Vaginal pain over a period of 3 years has been shown to be based on a vesiculo-bullous acantholytic disorder suggesting familial chronic benign pemphigus (Morbus Hailey-Hailey). Local application of 5 ml 1% hydrocortisone-enterochinol cream resulted in an almost total regression of all the symptoms, including dyspareunia.
