Abstract

An anion-exchange membrane, Permutit “Permaplex A20,” extracted phosphate from soils both when in a soil suspension and when buried in moist soil. It gave the same differentiation between soils of different P-status as anion-exchange resin beads, but avoided the necessity of using finely ground soil, with its attendant disadvantages. © Taylor & Francis Group, LLC.
