Abstract

Cellular senescence has paradoxical effects on cancer emergence, progression, and therapeutic response. We herein identify four lessons that emerged from studying senescence interaction with cancer and emphasize four bottlenecks in the therapeutic manipulation of cellular senescence to prevent or cure cancer.
