Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the difference in the effect of plyometrics circuit model based on the analysis of vertical jump movement on the increasing of jump power. This study used an experimental method consisting of two variables, namely the manipulative independent variable (exercise model) and the dependent variable (jump power). The research design was one group pre-test and post-test design. The sample used in this study was 10 students of the third semester of sports majoring in Health, Physical Education, and Recreation (HPER). The sample was taken by using purposive random sampling. Jump power data was measured by vertical jump test. The data analysis technique used Paired Samples Test. The prerequisite test used the sample normality test (Kolmogorov-Smirnov Test with a = 0.05) and the homogeneity of variance test (Levene Test with a = 0.05). Based on the results of the study, it showed that there was a significant difference between the pre-test and post-test of plyometrics circuit training model to increase jump power, Tscore = 12.31 > Ttable = 1.83 (p<0.05).
