Abstract

Health-relevant legislation in New York City (NYC) was catalogued during 1998–2017. Legislation identified through the NYC Council legislative record portal, 1998–2017 was systematically classified for relevance to four modifiable cardiovascular risk factors. We classified 7.4% of the legislation introduced during the Bloomberg Administration as relevant to selected cardiovascular risk factors.
