Abstract

In the dual formulation, the conformal methods use vectors fields which satisfy the equilibrium equation in each subdomain and whose normal traces on the interfaces are reciprocal. This latter constraint is dualized with a Lagrange multiplier which is the trace on the interfaces of the solution of the primal problem.
