Abstract

Job Satisfaction is a key element in organizational strategies, as it significantly impacts various aspects such as talent attraction, retention, performance, and organizational commitment. The aim of this study is to analyze the effect of Financial Self-Efficacy (FSE) and Financial Well-being (FWB) on the Job Satisfaction (JS) of workers in a metal-mechanical company in the maquiladora industry located in the state of Chihuahua, Mexico. The research is quantitative, non-experimental, and cross-sectional. A survey was administered to 236 workers, and the collected data were analyzed using a Structural Equation Model (SEM). The results confirm that Financial Well-being and Financial Self-Efficacy positively influence the Job Satisfaction of workers. These findings are relevant for the human resources departments of organizations, aiming to implement strategies that assist their employees in managing adequate financial well-being and self-efficacy, thereby fostering Job Satisfaction.
