Abstract
The Sherrington-Kirkpatrick (SK) model for spin glasses is deceptively simple to state. Yet its rigorous study represents a considerable challenge. We report here some modest progresses (obtained through elementary methods). Even in the supposedly simple high temperature region, a number of basic questions remain unsolved.
