Abstract

(1) The condition of osteopetrosis is briefly reviewed. (2) The hereditary aspect of the disease is stressed and evidence brought forward in support of dividing it into two forms, the benign, which is inherited as a dominant, and the malignant, which is handed down as a recessive. (3) A personally observed patient is described and a list of cases not included in previous reviews is appended.
