Abstract

The involvement of parents in learning at Raudhatul Athfal is considered important to achieve learning objectives in child development. In the Republic of Indonesia Law Number 20 of 2003 concerning the National Education System, it is stated in Article 54 paragraph 1 that the family has an important role and is very closely related to the achievement and implementation of early childhood education. Added to this is the Decree of the Director General of Islamic Education Number 2769 of 2019 concerning Technical Guidelines for Empowering Parents. Raudhatul Athfal stated that the purpose of parental involvement in RA is to harmonize learning programs in RA and the family environment. This study uses a qualitative approach that aims to determine the involvement of parents and teachers in planning, implementing, and evaluating role-playing learning in early childhood at RA Al-Ikhlash Marindal I. Data collection techniques were carried out by interview and document study. Data analysis techniques to explain the data were obtained by reducing the data, presenting the data, and drawing conclusions. From the results of the study, it can be concluded that parents and teachers are involved in the preparation of role play activity plans, the process of implementing learning parents are involved as observers for the benefit of reflecting on learning related to child development, assessment of role playing learning using various assessments based on the needs of the aspects being assessed.
