Abstract

The existence of the insurance company is certainly to provide solutions to the public about the risks faced. The era of globalization is the era of openness between countries, teuratama in the field of trade, Indonesia can not be closed to foreign parties, including businesses in the field of insurance. The challenges facing Indonesia in the insurance business in the era of globalization is to increase competitiveness in the national insurance business and increasing the role of law, culture, and national confidence in the insurance business and the role of government in implementing the guidance, supervision and protection for people, especially in the administration of insurance. The existence of the insurance law in Indonesia, especially the company's ownership by foreigners in the era of globalization, particularly on foreign ownership in the organization of insurance business in Indonesia, held both qualitatively and quantitatively.
