Abstract

In this paper, the authors discuss the main arguments for and against the most controversial individual issues in negotiations over the potential EU-US free trade agreement. The paper takes into account differences between the USA and EU and tackles the most controversial individual issues which threaten to derail the negotiations, and individual issues which seem dubious from the perspective of the general public.
