In recent years, microbubble and nanobubble technologies have drawn great attention due to their wide applications in many fields of science and technology, such as water treatment, biomedical engineering, and nanomaterials. In this work, we numerically studied nano-bubble formation process by entering air into a submerged orifice in a cylindrical vessel. The simulations were carried out using SOLA-VOF method. In this code, complete form of Navier-stocks equations was predicted two dimensions and using finite difference method. In addition, the effect of air flow rate on the nano-bubble size and its formation time at very low rates was studied.
