Challenging the legitimate right to violence

Abstract

The article discusses the issue of institutional violence focusing on the state government's organizations such as the Police, the Military and the prison system. According to the article these organizations are often considered as places which are legally allowed to use force and violence which enables them to resort to violence even when it is not required.
