Meliola chennaiana sp. nov. and some additional records of fungi from India

Abstract

This paper describes Meliola chennaiana sp. nov. and reports additional collections of Agaricostilbum pulcherrimum, the Isthmospora anamorph of Trichothyrium asterophorum (Isthmospora spinosa), Meliola weberae, and Spiropes dorycarpus from India. Distribution of the latter four species within India is briefly discussed.
