The topics discussed include: somatic comorbidity and Alzheimer's disease treatment; pathogenetic similarities shared by Alzheimer's disease and multiple sclerosis; structural neuroimaging in dementia; resting state functional magnetic resonance imaging in mild to moderate Alzheimer disease and amnesic mild cognitive impairment; vascular damage and neurodegeneration; neuropsychological pattern of presentation of Alzheimer's disease; non-invasive brain stimulation offers new prospects in cognitive neurorehabilitation for Alzheimer patients; transcranial direct current stimulation (tDCS) and cognitive decline; souvenaid improves memory in drug-naive patients with mild Alzheimer's disease: results from a randomized, controlled, double-blind study (souvenir II); and the role of physical activity and diet in preventing cognitive decline.
