Abstract

CD-Recordable technology is considered by many companies as a durable, inexpensive, secure and -best of all - standardized replacement for floppies, hard drives, microfiche, print, online services, tape, and other optical media such as MO and WORM. It is a viable platform for large-capacity data archiving and software distribution.
