Abstract
Anger is a negatively toned emotion, subjectively experienced as an aroused state of antagonism towards someone or something perceived to be the source of an aversive event. Anger is distinguished from hostility, which is an attitudinal disposition, and from aggression, which is behaviour intended to cause psychological or physical harm to someone or to a surrogate target.
