FENOMENA PENDETA TOXIC DI DALAM PELAYANAN GEREJA

Abstract

The background of the phenomenon of the characteristics of toxic pastors is the rise of pastors (servants of God) who abuse their priesthood to manipulate the congregation; even in more extreme cases, they dare to sexually abuse their own congregation. Even though they are people who are equipped with good knowledge and a spiritual life, Therefore, this study aims to describe and find out what the impact of the attitude of toxic pastors is and how efforts should be made so that pastors can control their own spiritual and physical lives. So, in this case, the researcher uses the literature study method, which shows that toxic pastors have a detrimental impact on the church and congregation.
