Abstract

The treatment of nasopharyngeal carcinoma (NPC) is challenging due to the close proximity of the tumor to critical cranial structures. While local control and survival rates have improved over the last several decades through primary treatment with radiotherapy and chemotherapy, physicians are still challenged by recurrent tumors. CyberKnife radiosurgery has been found to be an effective tool particularly in the setting of recurrence.
