Abstract
Abstrak-Perkembangan teknologi informasi yang pesat, otomatis seiring juga dengan meningkatnya para pengguna yang terhubung pada jaringan internet. Berawal dari sebuah single server yang selalu mendapatkan request dari banyak user, perlahan tapi pasti akan terjadi overload dan crash sehingga berdampak pada request yang tidak dapat dilayani oleh single server. Desain arsitektur cluster dapat dibangun dengan menggunakan konsep network load balancing yang memungkinkan proses pengolahan data di share ke dalam beberapa komputer. Dalam penelitian ini menggunakan algoritma penjadwalan round robin sebagai solusi alternatif mengatasi permasalah overload data pada server yang dapat mempengaruhi kinerja sistem IPTV. Untuk jumlah request yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah 5000, 15000, 25000, dan 50000 request. Dengan metode tersebut, maka performansi algoritma penjawalan dapat diamati dengan menekankan pada parameter sebagai berikut, yaitu throughput, respon time, reply connection, dan error connection sehingga didapatkan algoritma penjadwalan terbaik dalam rangka optimalisasi cluster server IPTV. Starting from a single server that is always getting requests from many users, slowly but surely going to happen overload and crash which impacted on the request that can not be served by a single server. Design of cluster architectures can be built by using the concept of network load balancing which allows processing data into multiple computers share. In this study using round robin scheduling algorithm as an alternative solution to overcome problems of data overload on the server that can affect the performance of the IPTV system. To request the amount used in this study are 5000, 15000, 25000, and 50000 request. With this method, the performance of the algorithm can be observed penjawalan with emphasis on the following parameters, namely throughput, response time, reply connection, and the connection error to obtain the best scheduling algorithms in order to optimize the IPTV server cluster. Automatically in the process of load balancing can reduce the workload of each server so that no server is overloaded and allows the server to use the available bandwidth more effectively and provide quick access to the web browser which is hosted. Implementation webserver cluster with load balancing schemes can provide alvalaibilitas system is maintained and scalability enough to be able to continue to serve each request of the user.
