Abstract

Pneumonia, a significant global health issue, requires rapid detection for effective treatment. Our solution addresses diagnostic delays, especially in remote areas, by enhancing image quality through advanced pre-processing techniques. We utilize a pretrained VGG16 model for efficient feature extraction and a classification layer to distinguish between normal and pneumonia cases. This approach improves diagnostic precision and accelerates detection, significantly enhancing patient care in resource- limited regions.
