Abstract

Three new species of the salticid genera Lyssomanes Hentz and Sumakuru Maddison (Salticidae: Lyssomaninae) are described and illustrated from Colombia. Both L. perafanin. sp. and S. felcan. sp. are described from the Nariño department, Southwestern Colombia, and both of them are known only from males. Additionally given is the description of L. wiwan. sp., which is based on the male and female specimens collected from a semi-preserved mountain ecosystem in the Magdalena department, Northern Colombia. Also, two new records of lyssomanines from Colombia, i.e. L. consimilis Banks from Cauca and Chocó departments, and L. unicolor (Taczanowski) from the Chocó department, are presented. Furthermore, new faunal data on lyssomanines from the Caribbean and Pacific coasts of the country are provided. A total of 12 species of Chinoscopus, Lyssomanes and Sumakuru are reported from these two regions of Colombia. Finally, distributional maps of lyssomanines from the Caribbean and Pacific coasts of Colombia with these new and previously published records are included.
