Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine how the effect of the application of the Team Accelerated Instructions (TAI) learning model on student learning outcomes in Basic Automotive Technology subjects. This research is a quasi-experimental research that uses a pre-test, post-test, control group design. The population is class X Light Vehicle Engineering SMK Negeri 1 Percut Sei Tuan totaling 62 people, the sampling technique uses total sampling with a sample of Class X TKR 1 as the experimental class using the Team Accelerated Instructions (TAI) model and Class X TKR 1 as the control class given treatment conventional learning. The results of the hypothesis test show significance so that Ho is accepted and Ha is rejected. The conclusions of this study indicate that the learning outcomes of students who are taught using the Team Accelerated Instructions (TAI) learning model are higher than students who are taught using conventional learning treatments.Keywords: Learning Outcomes, Team Accelerated Instruction (TAI), Vocational High School
