Abstract

Aiming at the problem of automatic acquisition of designers' knowledge needs during knowledge push process, a product design knowledge need awareness based on design context and brain-computer interface is proposed. The design knowledge need awareness framework is constructed based on design context and brain-computer interface. The design context is generated using dynamically captured design activity information. The design knowledge need domain is constructed based on brain-computer interface. The knowledge need anchor points are established according to the mapping relationship between design task and product structure, and current design content is obtained using design context to activate corresponding knowledge need anchor point. The types of knowledge needs are recognized by weighted Bayesian method. The proposed knowledge need awareness method is verified in the process of CNC machine tool digital design.
