Abstract
Indonesian Trademark law related to the represive protection limits itself to the legal protection forlike products orsen/ices. In fact, there have been manyproducts orservices using illegal well-know marks for unlike products orsen/ices. Before law 1992 No. 19 jo law 1997 No. 14, in many cases, courts extended legalprotection to include legalprotec tion for well-knowmarks ofboth like and unlike products. The courts based their consider ations upon good faith principle.
